2023 Character Counts Essay & Video Contest


The Pinal County Juvenile Court and Community Advisory Board (CAB) invites you to participate in the 2023 CHARACTER COUNTS ESSAY & VIDEO CONTEST.

This contest is open to all Pinal County students in grades K-12. Students in public, private, charter, or home-schooled may participate. The theme question is "How have you shown kindness to someone?"

There will be 5 entry divisions:
  • Division 1: K - 2 grades (150 word limit)
  • Division 2: 3 - 5 grades (150 word limit)
  • Division 3: 6 -8 grades (150 word limit)
  • Division 4: 9-12 grades (150 word limit)
  • Division 5: VIDEO Division (for grades 6-12 only)

Entries are due by Friday, March 31st.
