If you're like a lot of us, when it comes to choosing a good wine you don't always know where to start. As a result, you may find yourself buying the bottles with the best or most fun label. But with the holidays coming up, we thought we'd gather up some tips to help all of us get it right.

The Colombian contestant was already wearing this year's Miss Universe crown when host Steve Harvey returned to announce on live television that he had mistakenly read from a cue card, and that the contestant from the Philippines was actually this year's winner.

To say that the force is strong with this one is an understatement.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" brought in a galactic $238 million over the weekend, making it the biggest North American debut of all time according to studio estimates on Sunday.

Oscar-winning actor and comedian Robin Williams hanged himself, according to the Lt. Keith Boyd, the assistant deputy chief coroner in Marin County, CA.

Those of us that live in Arizona can cite many wonderful things about spring. There is baseball spring training. The weather is twice or three times as warm as most of the country. There is the annual sighting of the band, The Guess Who, at some spring festival. For the third time in four years (the band was at the Chandler Ostrich Festival last year), The Guess Who performed at the Good Life Festival at the Encanterra Country Club in San Tan Valley, Arizona, this time on Saturday, April 5. Given their top notch, hit laden, ninety minute set, it’s likely The Guess Who will be invited back to Arizona next spring.

When Tom Johnston, guitarist/vocalist/songwriter/co-founder of The Doobie Brothers, was asked in a recent interview if playing outdoors was a different experience than playing indoors, he responded, “Yes. It affects the crowd and how they think and their perception of the music. I think it puts a better vibe on the entire concert.” On Saturday night, April 5, 2014 at the Good Life Festival at the Encanterra Country Club in San Tan Valley, a sold out, outdoor crowd, proved Johnston correct.

Chances are, if you listened to rock radio in the 1970’s or listen to any classic rock music station today, not a day will go by without you being able to hear the music of the Doobie Brothers. With a song catalog that includes, “Listen to the Music,” “Jesus is Just Alright,” “Rockin’ Down the Highway,” “China Grove,” “Long Train Runnin,’” “Black Water,” and “Another Park, Another Sunday,” the Doobie Brothers have made an everlasting mark on American rock music.
