Combs High School Seeks Volunteers for Annual Mock Interview Day
Combs High School is preparing for its annual Mock Interview Day and is inviting local business and industry leaders to get involved.
The event is scheduled for March 26, 2026, and is expected to serve approximately 400 students, including Career and Technical Education (CTE) students and graduating seniors.
Mock Interview Day is designed to give students real-world interview practice with professionals from the community. School organizers say the experience helps students strengthen communication skills, build confidence, and better prepare for future career opportunities.
New Additions This YearOrganizers have made a few updates to enhance the experience.
Leading up to the event, the school has partnered with Arizona State University to provide an interview workshop for seniors. The workshop is intended to help students feel more prepared and confident before meeting with volunteer interviewers.
In addition, the Combs Education Foundation will provide brunch for volunteers as a thank you for their time and participation.
How to Get InvolvedCombs High School is currently seeking business and industry professionals to serve as interviewers for the event.
Volunteers can choose between two time slots on March 26 or sign up for both if available. Organizers also encourage volunteers to share the opportunity with colleagues who may be interested in participating.
Sponsorship Opportunities AvailableIn addition to interview volunteers, the school is seeking sponsors to help support the event.
Sponsorship needs include:
- Providing snacks and drinks for a volunteer hospitality room
- Offering light refreshments for students after their interviews
- Donating promotional items or "swag" for students
Businesses interested in volunteering or sponsoring are encouraged to contact the school for more information.
Mock Interview Day continues to grow each year, and organizers say community involvement plays a key role in making the event a success for students preparing to enter the workforce.
