The Circle Cross Ranch K-8 S.T.E.M. Academy was notified on April 21st of a $5,000 S.T.E.M. Grant they earned from the Salt River Project.

March 2nd is the anniversary of Dr. Seuss’ birthday and the students, staff, and school community at Combs Traditional Academy made sure it was recognized in conjunction with Read Across America.

Residents whose children attend Poston Butte High School and who live in Rancho Bella Vista North, Rancho Bella Vista South or the Greens I or Greens II, were notified last week, that beginning July 25, 2016, transportation, which has always been available, will no longer be provided to those students.

Combs High School students competed in events with four students receiving awards at the Arizona Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Leadership Conference and Competition held recently.

Congratulations to Brandon Wu, 11th grade student at Combs High School as his beautiful drawing titled 'Taking It Easy' was chosen as the Best of Show for the Arizona Junior Duck Stamp competition.

Last week, Mr. Ryan Sutterby was named the San Tan Foothills High School Varsity Baseball Coach. For the past four years Mr. Sutterby was the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach and Freshman Head Coach at Poston Butte High School.

The third and fourth grade students at Ranch Elementary are being treated to an excellent musical learning opportunity due to the generous donation of 40 ukuleles from the Kala Brand Music Company.

Combs staff members not only serve the students and families within San Tan Valley, but they also serve in leadership roles outside of the school district.

Over the weekend, the Florence Unified School District was notified that Rylee Brower from Poston Butte High School was selected to represent PBHS and FUSD at the Arizona All-State Orchestra, this April.
