Thank you Pinal County Precinct Committeepersons

On July 17th, 2013, I issued a call to arms for Pinal County to support the petition drive to place HB2305 on the 2014 ballot. Well today we learned that approximately 146,000 signatures were submitted to the Secretary of State to 1) stop this odious bill from being enacted and 2) placing the bill on the ballot for the people to defeat next November. When petitions were passed out to the Pinal County Precinct Committeepersons, they did not hesitate to take on the challenge of knocking on doors, setting up tables and having community gatherings to collect signatures. What seemed like a tremendous task upfront was quickly reduced to just business as usual for the volunteers. It also became very apparent that, We Are Not Alone!!!

Supervisor Candidate Tisha Castillo Secures Slot on Ballot in Republican Primary

With only 10 business days to complete requirements and gather signatures, San Tan Valley business owner Tisha Castillo filed for a slot on the ballot in the Pinal County Supervisor race during the August 28th Republican primary.

Walsh, Voyles to run for Pinal County attorney job

 

The seat for Pinal County attorney is being contested between incum­bent Democrat James Walsh and challenger Republican Lando Voyles. The county attorney’s office is tasked with prosecuting cases brought to it by the sheriff ’s office.

 

The office has about 150 people work­ing for it including more than 40 attorneys. Its annual budget is about $14 million.

Mr. Walsh has a Bachelor of Arts de­gree from St. Louis University and a Ju­ris Doctorate from University of Chicago Law School.
