I am writing to encourage people to vote for Kaye Dickson.

I write you today with a plea for an indulgence that should not require any formal request, to plead with you to allow my voice to be heard at the 2016 presidential debates, in the form of my chosen proxy… the Libertarian Candidate for President of the United States. As a matter of practicality, I fully understand the need to create standards for admission to the debates, lest the voices of legitimate candidates be drowned out by a room filled with dozens of unknown, unqualified, lone candidates that just wanted to be on stage for their own entertainment. It is certainly true that you have been effective in preventing this nuisance, but perhaps a little too effective.

Only 3.4 million Arizonans registered to vote this year out of the 5.1 million eligible voters.

That number calculates to a lethargic 65% registration rate. In a good year (usually a presidential election year), 75% of registered voters will cast a vote. To make the math easier, let's predict that 80% of registered voters participate in this year's election. Another calculation against eligible voters reveals that only 53% of eligible voters in our state will make decisions for everyone in our state.

I was in attendance of the Town Hall meeting on the 25th. I found the presentation by Mr. Palmer, not only to be a surprise, but also misleading.

I recently had a chance to chat with Kaye Dickson, sheriff candidate for Pinal county. Since the first thing she states about her campaign is that she values integrity, I wanted to know what, exactly, integrity means to her. This is what I learned.

I’ve known Tisha Castillo as both a colleague and friend for the past 10 years. I’ve been repeatedly impressed with her many abilities and the use of her intelligence and energy as a community supporter as well as a community leader.

Pinal County’s budget ink has hardly dried and not surprisingly a budget-busting request has been tossed onto the lap of the Board of Supervisors with a July 20 letter from the Sheriff’s office.

The way Pinal County will be represented on the Board of Supervisors will be essentially decided in just a few weeks as the Primary Election will tell us with 99% certainty who our new Supervisors will be.

Pinal County, Arizona, just like the rest of our Country, is awash in candidates for election. One area of concern and opportunity is in the Candidate slate for Pinal County Sheriff. As voters, we have exactly one chance to get it right.

It’s hard to imagine why any civic-minded, well-informed Pinal County resident would vote for Steve Henry and Lando Voyles, the self-proclaimed Law and Order Team. These men are no different than the criminals they supposedly fight.

Last week I was blindsided by a lawsuit challenging the 545 signatures I collected from voters in LD16 to run for office.

Our campaign was recently contacted by the Secretary of State's office and notified that someone had challenged the validity of signatures on my nominating petitions.
