Prepare Now: Key Steps for 2026 TPT License Renewal

The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) is reminding business owners to prepare early for their 2026 Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) license renewal.

All renewals are due by January 1, 2026, and any received after January 31 will face penalties.

ADOR recommends filing and paying online at AZTaxes.gov to reduce errors and make the process faster. Businesses with more than one location are required by law to renew their licenses electronically.

Before renewing, make sure the correct people have access to your AZTaxes account. Update mailing addresses, add or close locations, cancel old licenses, and review business codes or reporting areas. If ownership information has changed, submit a Business Account Update Form 10193.

During renewal, renew all active licenses—even those issued recently. Watch the video tutorial or check the FAQs on AZTaxes.gov for help. If the renewal option doesn't appear, confirm that your user account is linked to the license. Renewal fees must be paid online under "Pay Outstanding Liabilities" and cannot be paid by credit card.

If you received a paper renewal form, send the full form and payment together to:

Arizona Department of Revenue
PO Box 29082
Phoenix, AZ 85038-9082

Sending it to the wrong address may delay processing.

After renewing, verify your filing frequency for 2026 and make sure all taxes are paid before January 1 to avoid penalties and receive your license certificate.

For updates on tax rate changes, law updates, and reminders, visit AZTaxes.gov or follow ADOR on social media.
