Business Owners Urged to Plan Ahead for Online Filing System Change in January 2026
The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) is preparing to launch a new online business filing system, Arizona Business Connect, which will replace the current eCorp portal early next year. Business owners, entrepreneurs, and filers are being advised to plan ahead to avoid disruptions.
Important Dates to Know
- January 2, 2026: The existing eCorp system will be shut down at 5 p.m. After that time, online filings will no longer be available.
- January 2–January 12, 2026: A 10-day transition period during which the ACC will only accept paper filings.
- January 12, 2026: Official launch of Arizona Business Connect, when online filings will resume under the new system.
What This Means for Filings
Anyone who needs to submit business-related documents online should do so before 5 p.m. on January 2, 2026. Filings that are not completed by that deadline will not be accepted online until the new system goes live on January 12.
During the transition period, filings may be submitted only on paper, either:
- In person at ACC offices in downtown Phoenix or Tucson, or
- By mail or fax
There will be no online filing option during this window.
Using Future Effective Date Filings
To help businesses manage the transition, the ACC is encouraging the use of future effective date filings, when applicable. This option allows a document to be filed ahead of time while specifying a later effective date—up to 90 days in the future.
For example:
- A document filed online on December 24, 2025 can request an effective date of January 5, 2026.
- The filing will be processed and displayed in eCorp with the requested future effective date.
- It will not officially take effect until after Arizona Business Connect launches.
This approach allows businesses to complete filings before the online system shuts down, without delaying planned changes.

For questions or assistance with business filings during this transition, filers can contact the Arizona Corporation Commission directly at (602) 542-3026 or email
Business owners planning year-end or early 2026 filings are encouraged to review timelines now to avoid delays during the system changeover.
