New online tool lets you compare Arizona public schools
Want to know how your neighborhood school is rated by the state? How about the school down the street or the one on the way to work?
The Arizona Charter Schools Association has launched the education evaluator on its website this week that lets you compare public schools - district schools too, as well as charters. Using data gathered from various state resources (typically the most recent available), the evaluator allows users to look for schools based on zip code, school rating, test scores and more. Then, users can compare a number of schools at one time to see such things as how much state funding per pupil that school receives.
To access the data, go to azcharters.org and click on "education evaluator" at the bottom of the page.
