Nominations requested for “Spirit of Giving” Award

12’s of Christmas Spirit of Giving Award presented by Gateway Airport

Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport will be presenting the first annual “Spirit of Giving” award – part of the 12k’s of Christmas, an annual event in Gilbert that helps raise money and find new homes for our furry friends. This award will honor a member of the community who has made a difference by offering their time and resources to help animals.  “There are many unsung heroes who contribute so much to make our community a better place” says Brian Sexton of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, “and we welcome this opportunity to acknowledge their dedication.”

Nominations are being accepted through November 1st and can be submitted to 12k’s of Christmas, PO Box 14707, Scottsdale, AZ 85267.

Nominations must include the name and contact information of the nominee, along with 100 words or less describing why the nominee should be honored with the Spirit of Giving award.

The Award will be presented at the Town of Gilbert Council meeting on Thursday December 9 and again at the 12k’s of Christmas event on Saturday December 11, 2010.
