Catalina State Park is hosting a Star Party to showcase the night sky on Saturday, April 7 with telescopes provided by the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association.

The event at Catalina State Park will help visitors explore the wonders of the night sky. Astronomers will be onsite to answer questions and discuss the elements of the night sky as darkness descends. There will be eight high-powered telescopes for viewers to see Uranus, Neptune, the Andromeda Galaxy (2.5 million light years away), nebulae, double star systems, and star clusters.

The cost to attend is the park entrance fee of $7 per vehicle. This event is open for all ages. For more information, visit AZStateParks.com/Catalina.
