San Tan Valley Post Office is Officially Open

UPDATE: San Tan Valley Post Office is Officially Open

Before San Tan Valley got its name in 2009, the area used Queen Creek as it's mailing address. Why? Because the Queen Creek Post Office serviced the area and no one knew what else to call the unincorporated section of northeastern Pinal County.

Seven years later in 2016, the United States Post Office opened its first location in San Tan Valley.  This location unfortunately closed Nov 30, 2018. It's been a long three months, but the post office has officially reopened as of March 4th, in a new location.

Unlike a kiosk or company that is allowed to sell books of stamps, this location is a full service contract postal unit, offering products and services at US Postal Service prices.

Services offered include domestic and international mail services, insured mail, certified mail, return receipt, USPS tracking and stamps. The only product not available at this location is post office box rental.  (This location does not deliver mail.  San Tan Valley residents still have their mail delivered by third party contractors delivering from either the Florence or Queen Creek post office locations.)

The new post office is located at 1662 W Hunt Hwy, Suite 102, San Tan Valley, AZ 85143, across from the San Tan Valley Walmart, between Dunkin Donuts and Jimmy John's. The post office is open 8am - 5pm Monday - Saturday. Closed Sundays.

Collection times are 2:00pm and 4:30 pm Monday - Saturday.

UPDATE: The official grand opening celebration is taking place Saturday April 27th from 11am-3pm.  Click here for more details.
