Johnson Community Library to Celebrate Library's 1-Year Anniversary on Saturday, April 14, 2012

We invite the entire community to attend a celebration of the 1-year anniversary opening of the Johnson Community Library, April 14, 2012 at 11 a.m.

The Library celebration will be held at 968-1 E Hunt Hwy, San Tan Valley, AZ 85143 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to stay for a day filled with family fun, FREE Lunch (provided by Johnson Utilities) from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., carnival games, raffles, local vendors, WOWBUBBLES, Balloon Artist, petting zoo, Arts-N-Crafts, Facepainting, popcorn, cotton candy, snowcones, golf games, bounce houses, rockwall (provided by the San Tan Valley YMCA), and a special guest appearance for the kids!

In March 2011, the Johnson Family Foundation donated a library to the community. WE currently serve over 6000 patrons and daily library card requests.

The Johnson Community Library currently provides:

  • FREE WI-FI
  • 11 computer stations
  • Arts-N-Crafts program
  • Reading programs
  • Community Service Program

One year later, the Library has become a popular community gathering place for children, families and community members. The community has shown ongoing support. As our valued Patron, we would like to take this opportunity and thank you for all your support and donations.
