Hanzy's Seafood Restaurant Brings Southern Cooking to San Tan Valley and Queen Creek
When one thinks of the many things Arizona has to offer, seafood does not immediately come to mind. Valley diners typically must venture into downtown Phoenix, or head west to satisfy their taste for all things aquatic. But now San Tan Valley residents can experience authentic Southern seafood cooking without booking the next flight to Louisiana.
Hanzy's Seafood Restaurant at 21803 S Ellsworth Rd. in Queen Creek, opened in November 2012 with the goal of honoring the great traditions of fried seafood, fish, wings and other dishes from the deep south. Hanzy's fried foods are cooked fresh daily with special blended spices and recipes handed down through a family of cooks and restaurant workers. Hanzy's Seafood is a true down home restaurant and a gathering place for friends and family while enjoying great food cooked with love.

Concert review: Nothing stops San Tan Valley audience from enjoying Starship
We all have those moments when we hear a song and it sticks in your head for days. No matter what you try, your mind always goes back to that song.
With Starship featuring Mickey Thomas playing the Good Life Festival at Encanterra in San Tan Valley on Saturday afternoon, March 23, it makes sense that concert goers would walk away with “We Built This City,” or “No Way Out,” or “Sara,” entrenched in their brain. But no.
Since that concert, my mind only hears “Fooled Around and Fell In Love,” the Elvin Bishop Group hit song from 1976. Damn you Mickey Thomas.
