Coolidge Schools is seeking sponsors for a two-day Leadership Training during the month of July to develop a systematic vision for behavior management implementation as the district welcomes Ms. Charie Wallace as our new Superintendent.
During the 2012 – 2013 school year Coolidge Unified School District was able to implement ENVoY, a non-verbal classroom management program, at Heartland Ranch Elementary, Hohokam Middle School, and Coolidge High School. The district would like to be able to expand this program throughout all of the schools during the 2013 – 2014 school year.CUSD "Biggest Loser"
At Coolidge Unified School District’s April 10th regular Governing Board meeting, the winners of the District’s “Biggest Loser” wellness program contest were announced.
Suzy Taylor and Gerald Streit each won a beach cruiser bicycle.
CUSD Outstanding Service Awards Apr 2013
At Coolidge Unified School District’s April 10th regular Governing Board meeting, Outstanding Service Awards were presented to employees from the District’s Transportation department and from West Elementary School.
Maribel Bonilla and Graciela Suarez were nominated by the Special Services department for their repeated quick response and attention to the students in the SELF and ASAP programs.CUSD Student Character Awards

This award is given to students who best demonstrate any or all of the Character Counts! traits of Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.Coolidge Unified School District needs your help to secure funding for microscopes for STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) education.
The District needs you to support our schools by asking local farmers to nominate Coolidge Unified School District for the opportunity to compete for a $10,000 grant through Monsanto Fund’s America’s Farmers Grow Rural EducationTM.

At Coolidge Unified School District’s March 6th regular Governing Board meeting, former Governing Board member Thomas Bagnall was recognized for his dedication to the Coolidge Unified School District.

The Coolidge Unified School District’s Spelling Bee was held on January 24, 2013. Congratulations to all our finalists!
All students received a certificate and the top three students received plaques. The Pinal County Spelling Bee will be held on February 15, 2013 in the Coolidge High School Auditorium (684 W. Northern Avenue). Registration will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. and the Spelling Bee will begin at 9:30 a.m.Wolverines Represent CUSD in Future Cities Competition
The Wolverines did an outstanding job representing the Coolidge Unified School District #21 on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Regional Future Cities Competition.
Mountain Vista Middle School was one of 30 schools to participate in the competition this year – one of only two schools in Pinal County.
Congratulations to Biviana Rodriquez, Nathan Pugh, McKenzie Banks, Tatyana Williams and Keegin Juden for their hard work and dedication to this endeavor.
