The Arizona and Nevada departments of transportation are hosting an online opportunity through the month of February for anyone interested in providing feedback on the latest Interstate 11 and Intermountain West Corridor Study results.
Pinal County Public Works is urging drivers who take Hunt Highway to be alert for construction taking place from Village Lane to Stone Creek Drive. The Johnson Utilities construction project is Phase Two of their replacement of a reclaimed water pipe line. The project began on Monday, January 13 and will take approximately a month to complete.

Pinal County Public Works has been advised that work being done on a Johnson Utilities reclaimed water line will affect traffic at Gary Road beginning December 11 and ending December 16.
Pinal County Public Works is announcing a closure of Hunt Highway at Thompson Road for signal work on Friday, December 6. Only local traffic will be allowed between Empire Boulevard and Gary Road on Hunt Highway.
To detour around the construction zone: driving north on Hunt Highway, turn right on Gary Road. Go north on Gary Road until you reach Empire Boulevard. Make a left turn on Empire Boulevard and proceed westerly until you reach Ellsworth Road.
The backup of cars headed to Sky Harbor International Airport forced the Department of Public Safety to close the airport exit off State Route 143.
Hawes Road on-ramp closed
As the freeway-to-freeway interchange at State Route 24 and Loop 202 in east Mesa continues to near its anticipated completion in spring 2014, motorists may encounter closures or restrictions in the work zone. The following nighttime closure is scheduled for next week:
Around 1:15pm, Monday, Nov 18th, a single rollover accident occurred across the street from the ET Motopark Arizona Speedway on Ironwood, north of Germann.
The Blazer rolled and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The driver was flown to Scottsdale Osborn Hospital in critical condition.
Ironwood was closed in both directions for most of the afternoon.
On Monday, November 18, Pinal County Public Works crews will be restriping and reconfiguring the intersection of Gary Road and Empire Boulevard. The work will require a short closure of the intersection from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
There will be detours set up for drivers on Empire Boulevard and Gary Road.
"When the work is completed, drivers will see left turn lanes added for north and southbound Gary Road," said District 2 Supervisor Cheryl Chase. "I ask that people travelling in the area slow down and follow the detour signs so they can arrive at their destination safely."

The project is expected to last approximately five to six weeks. Most of the work will take place during the day with some occasional work taking place at night. There will be a substantial amount of traffic control used, including possible lane closures that could cause some delays.
The first ever Combs High School Homecoming Parade will be taking place at 4:30pm on Friday Oct. 25. The parade route will start at Ranch Elementary going north on kenworthy, right on Germann at the circle and end in the student parking lot.
Road Closures - The roads at Kenworthy (in front of Ranch elem.) and Germann (west of circle and east of 1st entry to student parking) will close right at 4pm.
Bring your lawn chairs to set up along the parade route.
