Governor Jan Brewer signed HB 2327 into law on Wednesday, which makes the chemical used to make "spice", "K2" and other synthetic drugs a banned substance in Arizona.

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors unanimously voted down an application for a special use permit that would have placed a medical marijuana dispensary in Dudleyville, a small town in rural eastern Pinal County.In 2010, voters approved Proposition 203, better known as the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act. The law gives patients, who are prescribed medical marijuana, the chance to obtain small amounts from tightly-regulated dispensaries. If the patient is not within 25 miles of a dispensary, they are legally able to cultivate their own marijuana.

On Monday morning, Krause checked his ticket and realized that the top line of his ticket had five matching numbers. He then found out that his five matching numbers were worth $1 million dollars.Krause, an Arizona snowbird from Colorado has been traveling to Arizona for the last three years. He is hoping to pay off some bills and share the winnings with his family.
