Mango

Mango could possibly be the most lovable kitty in the world.

He loves to be held and petted, he purrs a lot and he just is so darn cute.

He is playful but not too active. He gets along well with other cats.

He is hoping to join your family soon.

OK, so how gorgeous am I?

OK, so how gorgeous am I?

Not only that but I'm friendly, too.

I'd love to join your family! My name is Bamboo and I'm a three year old lady.

I enjoy people and also other cats.

Come out to meet me, the shelter is on 11 Mile Corner Rd. just south of the fairgrounds.

Last week, Pete Rios wondered if he would be joined by a fellow Democrat on the Pinal County Board of Supervisors or if he would become the lone Democrat surrounded by a sea of Republicans.

Either way, he looked forward to working alongside them.

“I will do everything I can to welcome the new members of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors and do my best to get them up to speed,” said Supervisor Rios, who represents District 1.

Buddy has a big, happy smile

Buddy is a handsome 2 year old Pit Bull mix with a big, happy "smile" and a personality to match! Buddy loves attention, enjoys playing fetch, and going for long walks/runs.

Buddy seems to be OK around other dogs, also (he is unknown around cats).

Buddy is just a great dog who would really like to find a home with an active family or individual before the holidays!

Congratulations

I want to congratulate Todd House on his win as Supervisor for Pinal County, District 5. I wish him the very best and the best for the future of our beautiful county. I am so pleased that we ran a political race based on our experience and what we could do for the county.  It was truly a clean campaign on both our parts and it was a pleasure for me to get out and meet the wonderful people in our district.

Health Survey Seeks Input

Pinal County’s Public Health program is seeking input as part of a statewide health initiative with the Arizona Department of Health Services.  The Community Health Assessment is an online survey that takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

The survey asks questions about factors that affect perceptions of health and access to care.  No personally identifying information is required.

Although ballot tabulations are not yet final, Republican candidates staged a near sweep of county and state offices in Pinal County last week, indicating the face of county politics has changed drastically in the last few years.

For the first time, the Pinal County Board of Supervisors will be controlled by a Republican majority; four of five county supervisors winning seats on the newly expanded board in last week’s election are Republicans.
