Superintendent Cecilia Johnson signed letters of intent to play football in college on a day dubbed National Signing Day.
It didn’t take four San Tan Foothills seniors long to decide where to continue their academic and athletic careers. On the first signing day Feb. 1, three of the four chose a place close to home and a fourth chose to move on to a different area to continue playing football. All signed letters of intent.Mychael Bruce, arguably the best athlete in the senior class, will attend Valley City State College in North Dakota. Julian Navarette, Tyler Howes and James Leep will all attend Scottsdale Community College.
