The San Tan Youth Football League will host its official Opening Day event on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 6–9 p.m. at Desert Mountain Park, 22201 S. Hawes Road. Come out and enjoy an evening of family fun that will include carnival games, bounce houses, mechanical bull, petting zoo, photo booth, dunk tank, foam pit, rock wall, vendors, yummy food, PLUS the introduction of all the football players!

The Poston Butte Youth Football Association (PBYFA) is proudly sending the Mighty Mite Division to the 2013 American Youth Football National Championships in Kissimmee, FL. in December 2013.
It has been a great season for the Mitey Mite team ending at 7 - 1. The offense and defense are surrounded with impressive talent beyond their years. With the way these boys are playing, it is likely they will also take the State Championship in Tucson next month.

New Mexicos Rick Ziehl rocked the packed house where dedicated fans waited thru imaginable weather conditions to see the ASCS Winged Sprint Cars battle in their action packed main event which would eventually be won by the 20Z team.
San Tan Youth Football League is participating in the nationwide campaign, the NALA’s Shop Local for a Cause June 13-15. The STYFL is at 20364 E. Appaloosa Drive in Queen Creek.
SCORE, the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce, SanTanValley.com, and Congressman Paul Gosar are working together to help raise money and awareness for the small business community in and around the San Tan Valley Area.
This upcoming event will provide SCORE with much needed funds to increase its ability to reach out to and assist the small business community and provide them with the training, insight and tools that will dramatically increase these companies chances of success.

Spring is the perfect time to get out and play a round of golf and the Combs Middle School is hoping for a great turnout for their first golf fundraiser. The tournament will be held at The Links Golf Club, located at 445 E. Ocotillo Road in San Tan Valley.

We all love filling out our brackets and picking the teams we know for sure are going all the way to the final four, unless your like me and pick the ones that end up losing in the first round. And we all know who ends up winning the bracket challenge, the person who knows nothing about college basketball! But we play anyway because of how much fun it is.
Walkers will go around the clock in the battle against cancer when the second American Cancer Society Relay For Life® of San Tan Valley gets underway with teams of residents gathering at Poston Butte High School on April 12th at 6pm.
Relay For Life events are held overnight as individuals and teams camp out at an athletic track, park or other gathering area, with the goal of keeping at least one team member on the track or pathway at all times throughout the evening. Teams do most of their fundraising prior to the event, but some teams also hold creative fundraisers at their camp sites during Relay.
All 72 participants showed up and gave generously at the second annual Oasis “Rally for the Cure” golf tournament. The Rally raised more than $5000.00 on March 17th 2013.
This year, some of the funds raised through participants and sponsors, paid for mammogram screenings through the Breast Assured Foundation and their on-site mammogram unit.
Additional funds will be sent to the Susan G. Komen organization both nationally and locally in support of breast cancer research.
