LeDuc received 706 writein votes with 419 going to second place finisher Thomas Dryden of Gold Canyon.
LeDuc had been temporarily Ron LeDuc appointed to fill the constable post by the County Board of Supervisors on July 11. The appointment followed the resignation of Constable Jack McClaren who left in June to make a run in the Republican primary election for the office of Pinal County Sheriff.
LeDuc will now hold the constable post officially until the next election in 2014. A 1981 graduate of Apache Junction High School, LeDuc served 11 years in the U.S. Army, including a deployment to Iraq during Desert Storm. He is also a retired police officer with 20 years of law enforcement experience in Arizona.
