ACLU of Arizona Joins National “Expose and Close” Campaign in Push to Shutter Pinal County Jail

 

Advocacy groups say Pinal County Jail one of 10 worst in the nation

The American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona today joined the Detention Watch Network and about 20 other local and national immigrants’ rights and civil rights organizations in calling on President Obama to end the federal government’s contracts with 10 of the worst immigration detention facilities in the country. The list of 10 includes the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Mr. Revelis, the ACLU and Paul Babeu

Who is Ruberto Revelis?  He’s often negative and continually attacks Sheriff Paul Babeu during public meetings and through Letters to the Editor.

Well, Mr. Revelis actually represents the ACLU.  He’s not just a member – he’s their President.  Not just for Pinal County, but for the entire state of Arizona.  This explains a lot.  The ACLU is a bunch of left wing kooks, who tear down America at every turn.
