Both candidates of the major two parties have made the statement that, ‘This is an election about two distinctly different ideologies.” This is very true and can not be repudiated. We have the choice between taking responsibility for our own lives or being subservient to the government. We have the choice of being leaders of our own communities or being led to whatever outcome the government wants for us. We have the choice of maintaining our independence or bowing to foreign wishes and values. We have the choice of maintaining our own assets and determining what to do with them or being forced to give them up to the government because “they know better.” We have the choice of taking the initiative and risk to build our own businesses or living under the notion that, as sheep, “it takes a community to raise our children”. You have the choice to be your brother’s keeper or you can choose to leave that to the government .You can make the choice of the color of your house or you can let others decide for you.
Everyone has to determine the principles that they are going to live under. Some like to think there are gray areas in life. This is where we have gone wrong. You either live by your principles or you live by your principles. This election on all levels – local, county, state and national – is very important.
We have to decide what is going to be best for us, our children and our grandchildren. There is no way that we can survive without sacrifice on every one’s part. It comes down to whether you want to make the choice of what your sacrifice is or you want the government to choose for you.
Life is made up of a combination of choices. Go out, choose your path and change your life and those that you touch.
