“Write-In” Shon White for Constable

by: Shon White - "Write-In" Candidate for Constable

Election Day is upon us, and the future of Pinal County and the shape it will take will start to be known in only a matter of hours.

I decided to run for Constable a few days after Jack McClaren stepped down to run for Sheriff. I am proud to say I was the first to throw my hat into the race for Constable.  I decided to run for Constable because in my Private Sector work, I have been able to deliver bad news, and do it effectively and respectfully. Constables are bearers of bad news and must be able to effectively communicate in order to be successful in what they do. Constables are in essence elected “Process Servers” for the Courts they will represent.

I will be the first to admit I am not a Politician, nor do I have ties to any other Politicians past or present. In the race for Constable, I have seen one Candidate attempt to pull the wool over our eyes with a fancy endorsement from Southwest Border Sheriffs (Not a Real Organization) and I am the only Constable Candidate that has stood tall enough to expose this and file a Complaint with Pinal County over possible Campaign Finance Violations. Another Candidate wishes to use the Constable position as a stepping stone to become Judge for the Justice Court. Our current appointed Constable is the Son in Law to Sandie Smith, a previous Democrat Pinal County Supervisor for many years. Ms. Smith lobbied for her Son in Law to be appointed by our Democrat controlled Board of Supervisors, he got the job. Now Ms. Smith is working hard to help him keep the job she helped him get.

Two of the other Constable Candidates failed to put “Write-In” on their signs. One being our current appointed Constable. One fixed this using what looks like a Sharpe Marker, our current appointed Constable got stickers to “Fix” their signs.  Why is this important? Details and being detail oriented is essential for a Constable and you must get it right the first time. Otherwise you use more money to fix the issue ie: stickers or use less professional ways ie: Sharpie Marker.

I have been fighting Fraud that exists in our Community. ALL Candidates except for me made appearances at the same time on this Fraud operation (details on shonwhite.com).

I have been a Valley resident since 1979. I admit some Candidates have been in the Apache Junction area longer than I have, but know when I reach their ages I will have actually been in the area longer than they have if you want to put it in age perspective. I have no desire to ever run for a higher office. I have no Political Connections or agenda. Remember when you vote for a Candidate you get not only what’s on the outside, but what is on the inside as well. Something to also consider is backbone and does the Candidate pay attention to what is going on in their Communities? Are they in it for themselves, or are they in it to do something positive for their community? Win or Lose I will continue to be active in my community. To help non-profits, call out fraud (with proof), be involved with others that have the same passion and beliefs that our character defines us as people. Stand up for what is right and expose those that only want to control this County for their own selfish reasons.

In closing I will use a line from a great movie: When it comes to being your Constable “I’m Your Huckleberry”.

I ask you to “Write-In” Shon White for Constable.
