I am writing this letter on behalf of a person I believe possesses all those qualities and much more. I encourage you to vote for Tisha Castillo to represent District 2 on the Pinal County Board of Supervisors. I have had the honor of knowing and working with Tisha during my term as Sheriff of Pinal County.
Tisha was instrumental in helping organize, form, and leading the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce now serving as its President. She is one of the founding members of the Greater San Tan Area Coalition and Greater San Tan Community Block Watch Association. Also, Tisha was helpful in starting the Citizens on Patrol Program in the San Tan Valley for the Sheriff's Office. Because of her leadership and commitment to the community, Tisha was honored as the 2009 San Tan Area Volunteer of the year. These are just a few of many organizations she is involved with as a leader and organizer showing her commitment to the community of San Tan Valley.
Tisha, along with her husband Dewayne, are co-owners of two very successful businesses in Pinal County, MyBizNow.com and SanTanValley.com. These businesses are successful because of her innovative, fiscal management and ability to communicate with her stakeholders. MyBizNow.com was named 2009 San Tan Area Business of the year for its leadership role in the community. Along with Dewayne, Tisha began San Tan Leads, an organization designed to assist local businesses grow and learn how to network. Beginning with three members the organization is now at over twenty. As a result businesses are prospering in the San Tan Valley.
