“Today my office became aware of an incident that occurred last night in San Tan Heights. Neighbors reported what appeared to be raw sewage in the water features outside the residential community. I am concerned about this issue and have spoken directly with Johnson Utilities in an effort to learn more. The utility company has assured me that raw sewage was not released and they are working with state environmental officials to resolve the problem.
Many San Tan Valley families have children who are involved in sports. Some like football, baseball or basketball. Some like soccer, swimming or golf. Brandon Atkins however has found that he excels in tennis and his family couldn't be more proud.
The Atkins are Johnson Ranch residents and their son, Brandon Atkins attends Basha High School in Chandler. As a 13 year old freshman, he plays the #2 Varsity position for the tennis team. Many children start playing sports when they are elementary school age and have played for many years before getting into high school.

Recent road construction slated to improve roads in San Tan Valley finished 10 days ahead of schedule, according to county officials. The project, which affected various roads in San Tan Valley, had an original projected end date of May 18, or two weeks from the start date, but instead wrapped on May 8, according to Heather Murphy, communications director for Pinal County.
As I was perusing FaceBook the other day, I came across a posting that I felt compelled to look further into; a “cry out” from a family in need. After contacting the mother, Deahanna Hubbard who posted through another FaceBook user, we made plans for me to meet her at her home in Johnson Ranch. I brought a few buckets full of clothing and as we got to talking I asked her of her story. This woman, along with her boyfriend are filled with such compassion that I was honestly overwhelmed and stricken (in a positive way) by their efforts, high and endless energy, as well as an obvious love for their family.
