On 7/22/2012 a similar theft occurred at a nearby Walgreens located at 3111 West Hunt Highway (just north of the Bella Vista location). A different male subject walked into the store and left after taking a similar donation jar.
In both cases the jars were left next to the cash register.
The donation jars were placed in the stores by the 7-year-old's parents who use the money to cover food expenses. Her picture and purpose for the funds were clearly marked on the containers.
PCSO and the family would greatly appreciate any help in locating the suspects who face theft charges.
