Yolanda Smith of Mia Bella Cupcakes walks into a room with what appears to be a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

she sets it on a table and people start eating them you know something is different about this bouquet.

The unique gift product is culinary art. The flowers are cupcakes and Yolanda has sculpted the frosting so they resemble roses.

She attaches them to wooden stems and places about 40 in a vase and the illu­sion of a flower bouquet is complete.

Mia Bella Cupcakes is a home-based business in San Tan Valley and owner Yolan­da Smith is the culinary creative artist baking and making these custom unique culinary gifts. She has always loved to bake and after leaving a career in the medical industry in Augusta, Ga., eight years ago she moved to Gilbert. Three years ago she relocated to San Tan Valley. After surviving breast cancer two years ago her friends encouraged her to take her baking hobby to the next level and make it a business enterprise.

Mia Bella Cupcakes can create custom bouquets to fit almost any occasion, from birthdays and anniversaries, to event din­ners and housewarmings. Seven days is the lead time for ordering and all bouquets are baked the day of delivery to assure fresh­ness. Shipping and local delivery are avail­able. Ordering is done online or via phone.
