An all digital system allows court proceedings to be recorded directly to a hard drive. The destination hard drive can be located either on a local PC or on a central server elsewhere in the network. Once the recording is complete, the file can be saved as a PDF file along with the associated notes, cue points and media (both audio and video). In PDF format, the recording may be transcribed or moved to any other PC-compatible storage device.
Having a reliable and durable system in place like Liberty brings a new level of communication to the Courts. When complex concepts, or difficult case materials are presented, the segment can be replayed for clarity and understanding. Liberty has entirely replaced the outdated FTR system in the Superior Court in Pinal County and is now the only supported system. This much-needed upgrade was a planned-for and budget-approved item. More detailed information about the Liberty system can be found at www.jcgtechnologies.com/site/courtsDigital
