On Friday, September 28th eight students from the Florence FFA Chapter competed at the Chandler FFA Invitational at Chandler High School.
Our students were awarded in both contest areas: Parliamentary Procedures and Creed Speaking.
The focus of this career development event, which was open to all high schools across the state of Arizona, was to provide students with opportunity to refine their skills in the areas of leadership, public speaking, teamwork, and business management.
Shelby Sanders and Gabriel Lantz placed 2nd and 3rd in Creed Speaking against thirty-six other participants.
Hayden Kent, Maria Palos, Sarah Mattingly, Emma Buckner and Carlos Campos places 2nd in the Novice Parliamentary Procedures event.
These students worked diligently to proudly represent Florence High School, a school that is truly growing Champions of Today and Tomorrow!
