FUSD Governing Board received two districtwide Energy Star Leader Awards

The FUSD Governing Board received two districtwide Energy Star Leader Awards on behalf of the District.

One awards was for "achieving a portfolio average energy performance score of 79 for the year 2012."

The second was for "significantly reducing its portfolio-wide greenhouse gas emissions by 20 percent in 2012."

Florence USD is only the second organization in Arizona, public or private, to receive this recognition.

The April 11, 2012 Florence USD Governing Board Meeting was hosted by Circle Cross Ranch K-8 at the Poston Butte High School Culinary Arts center.
