Poston Butte Awarded $4,958 from Greater Valley Area Health Education Center

Poston Butte High School has just received word that Greater Valley Area Health Education Center has awarded Poston Butte HS the amount of $4,958 to cover the cost of purchasing 6 Vernier LabQuest Human Physiology Packages to be used for sophomore student biology classes.  Below is the letter stating such.

Dear Ms. Ploense,

Thank you for your application for grant funds from the Greater Valley Area Health Education Center (GVAHEC). We have reviewed your application and we will be awarding Poston Butte High School the amount of $4,958 to cover the cost of purchasing 6 Vernier LabQuest Mini Human Physiology Packages to be used for sophomore student biology classes.

The Greater Valley Area Health Education Center is committed to developing a robust healthcare workforce for the future of Arizona. We supply assistance to future and current health careers students, practicing health professionals and to communities. Hopefully this is but the first of many beneficial interactions that Poston Butte High School students will have with GVAHEC as they pursue their health careers.
