Dr. Jonathan Johnson Appointed as New Principal at Leading Edge Academy

Leading Edge Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jonathan Johnson as principal of the Queen Creek Middle School / High School Campus.  Dr. Johnson holds a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership with over 10 years of extensive experience in education.  He believes in a balance of academic excellence, athletics, and character development for students.

Leading Edge Academy is an Arizona Charter School with seven campuses in the East Valley. The Queen Creek campuses have experienced growth and expansion leading to the need for two principals.  Mr. Steve Butcher, who has overseen both campuses, will now oversee the Kinder-5th grade (Mountain View) campus.  Dr. Johnson will provide leadership to the Middle School / High School (San Tan) campus.  Both schools are located along Hunt Highway in San Tan Valley.

Leading Edge Academy's college preparatory approach teaches the whole child using a values-based program to challenge students to improve their character and enhance their relationships.  With the vision and focus Dr. Johnson brings, the future is bright for Leading Edge students.
